The shoulder button on my Street Fighter IV MadCatz FightPad recently broke, so I'm looking for a new controller to use. I tried using the 360 controller with the transforming D-Pad, but found myself randomly jumping and ducking when I didn't want to. Anyone have any suggestions for controllers they've used for a long time without any issues?

I don't play Mortal Kombat, but I know that if I did, I would use my Madcatz TE stick. That's what I use for most of my fighting games.

Rotating D-Pad here. But the standard 360 controller is fine.

Girlfriend came very close going in half with me on one of those custom arcade rigs. But it didn't happen, despite my begging.

I use a regular controller with the stick since the 360 D-pad can't be trusted

I use the regular 360 controller.
I play mainly with the stick but often pop down to the d-pad for certain moves (typically for the double taps).

I use a Mad Catz TE stick, I already owned it and I hate the 360 DPad.

I use a FightPad. I've got a stick and a new rotating d-pad controller, but the fightpad suits MK the best for me. Good d-pad and shoulder buttons.

I've been using the Razer Onza. The D-Pad isn't perfect but its way above the standard controller.

I use the transforming D-pad controller and standard Xbox one.

I'm planning on getting the M$$ Hori pad with SNES like D-pad, I heard it's good too.

P.S. don't get Madcatz controllers...they're crap, break easily...I went thru 4 of them last year on UMK3 alone....waste of money.
