SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy Seals did not chart in the top ten in April, but that's because NPD did not combine the sales of the regular $59.99 game and the more expensive PlayStation Move bundle. Had the two numbers been combined, NPD noted, SOCOM 4 would have broken into the top ten list.

Here are the top ten games for the month:

I should probably get MK.

I figured as much- considering how many are talking about it and how awesome the game is it deserves the sales. Portal 2 deserves its place as well- Only thing I wasnt sure of is which sold more.

Both well deserving games- they're both worth buying.

I don't get the COD fanbase....they bitch non-stop but keep buying it in tenfolds.

Where in the top ten would SOCOM have come? Crysis 2 is still selling but I was surprised to see the drop off in player numbers for Crysis 2 on Xbox360 at least. It wasn't even in the top 20 games played last week.

Guessing this doesn't include Steam sales of Portal 2, so Mortal Kombat probably lost and rightly so.

I think across all 4 (or 3.5) platforms Portal 2 definitely sold more.  However MK did win out on consoles and a solid showing for a game that deserves it.

Ed Boon also mentioned on his twitter that they actually sold over 1 million including the special/tournament editions!

Who the hell is still buying Black Ops and NBA 2K11? I mean I love NBA, play it all the time, but for those two titles to be shifting enough to make the charts this many months after release... shocking to me.

Steam doesn't disclose their sales so you're likely missing a very large chunk of the picture.
