    I downloaded the demo off of the PSN on a whim a few days ago.  I had never really gotten into an MK game before. I was more of a SF and MvC guy, but damn this game is fun! Playing with the DualShock 3 feels totally natural and the combos and special move timing seems much easier to execute than SF4 and even MvC3. I've really taken to Sub-Zero and have figured out a few good 35-38% combos. Only playing against the computer will probably adversely effect me if I ever start playing online but I'm sure I will learn to block more eventually. Overall, the demo has really got me interested in picking this game up. With Portal 2 on the horizon, it probably won't be a day one purchase for me, but I will definitely get it sometime this summer.

    Not in the same way as MK i guess. You can chain normals together and then into special moves but a majority of the characters don't have set combos like in MK.

    I thought SFIV was more about mind games like he's gonna jump here so I'm gonna do this.  I haven't seen many matches where the combo count is more than 3-4 hits outside of supers.

    I was under the belief that the fighting game genre is all about combos and mind games. Some focusing on one aspect over the other but still.

    @RadJoshCon:  That one is of xbox players playing it live, you can view the "Avatar suppport" King of the Hill mode there, but you can find all sorts of other players doing Story Mode, Challenge Tower, and Arcade mode on there if you browse around, lots of people are able to get the game early :)

    Game looks so fucking good.  I can't remember saying that about a MK game since I looked at screens of MK2 in EGM in the nineties.
