Each character will cost 400 pts ($5) so basically with the pass you get one character for free. The pass will be available to download on June 21.

There was another announced. Err..It was the guy like Goro..but kinda cat like. He was in a gamepro magazine. I might still have the magazine.

That was said to be a misprint and misunderstanding! Kintaro is not a dlc character, and is a sub boss.

At first I was thinking that this was a bit unfair to me the PS3 Mortal Kombat owner, but then I thought i did get Kratos (still have yet to even try playing as him).  But still if I want all 4 characters I will have to pay half of what I paied for the game, so idk if I will get any of the dlc.  
 
 Plus I'm not great at the game but it is hella fun, so do I want to invest more into a game I have the proper amount of fun in without the dlc?

This sounds like a great idea. I usually go all or nothing on DLC for a game so I'll take what is essentially a free DLC character by purchasing the whole thing.

The price is right! I was hoping each character would be just $5. I'm totally buying it.

Not too sure if it's worth it.  I already know that I want to play as Kenshi, but not Skarlett.  

Easy buy. Rain is a must have, Kenshi is basically the only good post-MK3 character, and Skarlet seems interesting.

I don't really play the game that much anymore, but I'll probably end up buying the three already announced kharacters, or at least Skarlet and Kenshi, they seem cool.

I have no interest in purchasing any of the DLC characters, and I don't really get why some people have a huge crush for Rain. The guy was a throwaway joke in UMK 3, and acclaim made a hacked up version of him for the console versions, and that's the last he was in a game until he appeared in one of those not-so-great 3D plane MK games.
 
I'm curious to see what they do to differentiate Kenshi from Ermac, since they're pretty much the same character.

I'm still a bit unsure about this. I don't understand why these characters were in the game from the start. It's also sort of weird to see this sort of reception, 2-3 years ago I think the reaction would have been different.

I don't know about that. Tremor was a god awful character, MK4 - Armageddon at least had a couple of good characters, including Kenshi who is coming next.

Though I wouldn't argue that the vast majority of them were terrible.

I would NOT mind a male pink ninja! lol

I still believe a character for 5 dollars is a lot.

I read somewhere that his attacks--especially his normals--are sword-centric. They might focus less on the telekinetics and more on the slashing.
