The best Mortal Kombat game ever.

I haven't played all 3 classic Mortal Kombat games in a long time 20 years since the original MK made it to America. This year, I've finally got what I wanted to buy. Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition. It was an amazing 2011 for Mortal Kombat and after they find a new home after Midway (Kombat's former publisher and distributor) filed for bankruptcy in 2009, Warner Bros. decided to reboot the franchise in a whole new environment and boy I'll tell ya, it didn't disappoint the entire fans of this gore-fested series.

The story mode is incredible and it lets you relive past memories from the previous Mortal Kombat trilogies (I, II, and Ultimate Mortal Kombat III) and it takes place in EarthRealm where Shao Kahn is about to take over the world. But after what happened in 2007's MK: Armaggeddon (Spoiler Alert!), Raiden is in a lot of hurt and Shao Kahn is one step away by killing Raiden again and rule Netherrealm. But now he must follow everything he sawed after what happened in the final battle between Earthrealm and Outworld. The only way to do is to enter the Mortal Kombat tournament and prepare for the ultimate battle for mankind. I know the story is way too long, but you have to choose your favorite kombatants to defeat Shao Kahn (in the final level in a Gladiator-like dome) because there's no telling if it's going to be 2-on-1, 3-on-2, or any type of match because you have your own set of moves to execute.

The Komplete Edition has lots of great stuff on the disc. If you haven't pre-ordered Mortal Kombat last year or didn't buy it under the Playstation Store Add-ons feature, don't worry. Every downloadable content is in the game. You don't have to worry about online pass or season pass There are 5 new characters including a long-time kombatant who was rumored as a glitch in Mortal Kombat II, but now added to the Mortal Kombat family (Skarlet), 2 returning characters (Rain and Kenshi), Kratos (from God of War), and Freddy Krueger (Nightmare on Elm Street series). Also, you'll get the original 1995 Mortal Kombat movie that is worth recommending and a complete soundtrack of the game. It costs cheaper so you might wanna save your bling-bling before the holiday season starts soon.

There's no telling Kreator Ed Boon is gonna do next whether it's a spin-off to Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe or another adventure game. But I gott say, Happy Birthday, Mortal Kombat! 20 years of boobalicious babes, M-rated controversies, fatalities, all that stuff. I wonder if Mileena has her own Twitter account. She looks way hotter than Jade or Kitana. I had a great time playing Mortal Kombat and hopefully soon, we could make Street Fighter vs. Mortal Kombat happen!

Also if you don't like this review leave a comment telling me how to improve for the future. Thanks!   Most fighting game fans can probably remember which of the entries into the Mortal Kombat franchise is their favorite. However, as a close converse to that, many can probably also remember which one(s) are the worst. I don’t think its cliché to liken the experience of g...

Get Over Here...and play Mortal Kombat! 0

Mortal Kombat 2011 Mortal Kombat comes back strong and hard for its ninth installment titled simply Mortal Kombat. This game is somewhat of a reboot to the Mortal Kombat Franchise both in terms of story and gameplay; not only do you relive/change the events of the story for the first three Mortal Kombat games but it also returns to its 2D fighting style. The story begins after the events of Mortal Kombat Armageddon. As Shao Kahn is about to finish Raiden off, he sends a message to his past sel...
