    Mortimer McMire is the primary antagonist of the Commander Keen franchise.

    In Episodes 1 and 2 of the franchise, Commander Keen twice defeats the Vorticon forces under the leadership of the mysterious "Grand Intellect."

    In final stage of Episode 3, the Grand Intellect is revealed to be none other than Mortimer McMire, an evil eight-year old genius who torments Commander Keen/Billy Blaze at school because his I.Q. of 315 is one point higher than Blaze's. Mortimer's main goal is to destroy all beings of lower intelligence. To carry out his plan, he uses technology to mentally enslave a variety of alien species: the Vorticons to destroy the Earth, the Bloog and the Shikadi to destroy the Galaxy.
     
    In the unproduced trilogy, The Universe is Toast, McMire was to return with a new plan to destroy the Universe.
     
    Mortimer has an older sister, Molly, who was not only Billy Blaze's babysitter but also a pawn of his in Keen 6: Aliens Ate My Baby Sitter!
