Some of you may be unfamiliar but I'm sure at least a few of you will have read Pitchfork's fantastic "Rise and Fall of Final Fantasy" series over on Socksmakepeoplesexy.net, so this is a heads up for people like me who assumed he would never get to Mother 3.

He started a Mother series in the same vein and wrote about Mother 1 and Earthbound in 2012 and it seemed like he'd never get to Mother 3 yet here we are, he released his dissection of Mother 3 in March of this year and I only realised it was actually out a few days ago.

It's a very long but fantastically written piece and I'm sure fans of the game will absolutely love it even if you haven't read his prior work.
