    Concept »

PC games that support the use of two or more monitors.

My dual monitor(s) will not work properly.

I'll get right to the problem. It not a resolution problem or anything of that sort. I am using a television as my 2nd monitor which is connected through a VGA cable going from the TV to my graphics card and my main display (Acer 23" HD Monitor) as my main display.

The problem I am having is the monitors working together while I am playing games, specifically first person shooters for some reason. As I am playing Battlefield 4 for an example and there is an enemy to my left I of course move my mouse towards the enemy and when I press my RMB (Right-mouse button) to aim at him my second monitor / television is being toggled with the right-click option that just brings up a dialog box giving me appearance options and such.

    What I've tried...

    • Tried adjusting my video settings to borderless (fullscreen-windowed) from completely fullscreen.
    • Went into my screen resolution settings to change some of the display settings and nothing has changed.

Hope that some of you out there can help me with this problem as I would rather play the games I want to without encountering any problems like such. If you have a solution or recommendation please post them down below!

    Best regards,

    Codi

You DON'T want borderless, you want to stick with fullscreen.

That's weird though. Haven't experienced that yet.. Typically fullscreen apps will not allow the mouse to exit the primary monitor.

Check Nvidia Control Panel (if thats what you're using) and see if the 3D surround options might br causing this.

This is usually the game's fault. There are specific games I play where this will always happen - mainly if I am using Borderless Windowed - they just fail to capture your mouse correctly. You could try turning off Windows Aero, no idea if that would help.

Alternately look for a Mouse Jail program like this one: http://www.dr-hoiby.com/MouseJail/ You will need to change the shortcut to launch the game to launch MouseJail first.

Well there's a subforum attached to every single wiki entry.

There's a whole subforum dedicated to the fucking Hamburglar.
