A fighting arena in Mortal Kombat 3, the impending merge between Outworld and Earthrealm can be seen in the background.
First appearing in Mortal Kombat 3, the Subway offered, for those that resisted uppercutting, a chance to fling their opponent in front of a train to finish them. The MK: Armageddon version of the arena added trains running along both walls.
In Mortal Kombat II, The Tower is a fighting arena. Wind and cloud blow past the open walls at a maniac speed, as Shadow Priests hover silently in the background.
Originally appearing in Mortal Kombat II, the Wastelands of Outworld are a bleak and ruined landscape where it is forever night. The Wastelands arena returned in MK: Armageddon and featured Death-by-Catapult as a stage fatality.
