    Overview

The Muscle Tracers first developed as a construction working unit to lift heavy loads and function for periods of time. But It didn't last long enough until the military weaponized the MT technology and became combat MTs.

Now the MTs are the most produced units on the ground, with their low production cost. They mainly being cannon fodder, they are the most common enemies to face and can be come in all sizes. Lack of modular design of the Armored Core, the MTs can be very powerful opponents in a larger models like the Leviathan.

    Types of MTs

The MTs comes in large amount of designs, ranging from small workers that the player encounter in Armored Core to massive and powerful bosses such as the Devastator.

    Security

Small unmanned drones designed to protect an instillation and defend it if need it. These Security MT tend to be the weakest of all, but in numbers, they can be extremely dangerous.

    Small

Larger than the security model, the Small MTs are generally to be annoying to the AC. The Small MTs have larger fire powers than Security, but are very easy to destroyed.

    Medium

The widest MTs out there, these MTs are the most common and are harder to take down then their smaller cousins. The most recurring design is a Reverse Joint model.

    Battle

The Battle MTs are much more powerful MTs then the others and tend to cripple an AC if left alone too long. They are encounter in Armored Core 3 and Silent Line, which they are similar to AC's (from Humanoid Design, Basic Boosting, and a laser blade). They are referred to as "high-end" models.

    Masssive

Boss-like MTs, they are rare to fight in Armored Core, only appearing later in the game. The Massive MTs are powerful behemoths and their only weakness is their slow speed. However, an AC will get destroyed in second if they stay in site long enough. This makes these MTs more difficult when encountered them in open wide areas with very little cover.
