Because what? But yeah, confirmed. Seems Kishimoto designed Lars' secondary outfit in T6: Bloodline Revolution, so Lars got put into the latest Naruto game as a corollary. Bizarre, but...there you go.

It seems that way. Sort of a "MAN! No one knows about our expansion of Tekken 6, let's put in a character that will sell young as an in game ad!" 
 
What's also interesting is that Kishimoto also did the alt. costume for Jin. So does that mean Jin, confirmed for Storm 2 as well? 
 
Either way, it's bizzare, but jump confirms, Lars is definitely in.

I think out of all the Tekken characters they could have picked he would fit in the best in a Naruto game.

I was just reading the trophy list that came out today and one of the cheevos is
"Assassin from Tekken 6"
"You unlocked Lars"
I was sorta dumbfounded for a minute. Do they really mean Lars Alexanderson?
and apparently they do, that crazy.

Lars is in Storm 2 because Masashi Kishimito - excuse my spelling - designed the character.
