I miss it so, and was saddened to see it go.  I still pop in the DVDs, and watch them every couple of months. I guess the show was just too slow moving for the average viewer. If only we had seen the awesomeness of River during Firefly, instead of having to wait for her to cut loose in the movie Serenity... I think it might have made a difference in viewership.

No story changes could have saved Firefly after the way it was treated by Fox.

And now Joss Whedon's new show is where? ON FOX. Huh? Wha?

My sister got me into this show and I absolutely loved it..the movie was even better. Once again it seems that we have similar tastes...

My girlfriend was never a Sci Fi fan, after one episode of this show, she was hooked.  I've now got her into BGS, but she hates Apollo/Starbuck it was tough for her to hang w/ Season 2.. understandably as those are the 2 worst characters.

Love this show. It's one of the few DVDs I rebought on Blu-Ray, because I knew I wanted it as good as it could be.

hulu is not allowed to broadcast out of America.

I prefer Space: Above and Beyond to Firefly.

serinity is a better name than firefly but other than that the show was and always be perfect.

I never could get into Firefly.  It was an alright show, but I never did see what the fuss was about.  Doesn't mean it was horrible...but then again...I don't really care for Joss Whedon's wet-dream fan-fic as is.  lol

Still, it was an alright show, and Serenity was an alright movie.

I have a huge Firefly/Serenity collection! I'll probably post it in my profile sometime. I'm very proud of it.
But yeah, the cancellation of this show was a big tragedy.

I loved it too.  Whenever I want a pick-me-up, I rewatch the series/movie.

Firefly reminds me of Cowboy Bebop but not nearly as stylish and also in live-action. Also I haven't watched it in years so I could be totally wrong about this.

My DVD's are starting to wear out. I still feel incomplete.
