Well I'll be damned. This is what I wanted but I didn't think it would happen. Is this the very first time that a demo has come out for a game that doesn't exist?

Let's be honest, all EA Sports needs is FIFA, NHL, and Madden. 
 
2K can keep the others and Sony can keep Baseball.

Makes sense, the window for this game coming out already closed so they might as well move on to the next one.

Making NBA Jam a full priced disc game probably cannibalized their sales forecasts for Elite.

Sucks for them.  At least NBA Jam is coming out this year for 360 and PS3.

How is this shocking? This was practically inevitable...

God now those copies that got out are going to be the most interesting thing about sports games, since they invented sports games.

EA should just stick to arcade basketball games.  2K has the simulation style down to a science while EA has seen success with the NBA Street games and now NBA Jam.
