Officially,  NBA Jam is only coming to the Wii. It's officially on the record as a Wii exclusive, and that means that any news you may have heard about the game coming to any other platform isn't official. Officially.
 
Like that news story you read, earlier this month, which reported that  Germany's media ratings board, the USK, rated versions of NBA Jam for the 360 and PS3, meaning that a version of NBA Jam for the 360 or PS3 had been submitted to the ratings board to facilitate their release? Which means that the game is coming out in Europe on the 360 and PS3, and could come out in other territories on those platforms? That story is not official. It's not necessarily unofficial. I mean, the story is true. It's just not official. That's how "official" works.

Officially I may have unofficially read some or all of this story in part (or whole).

Either way, I'm SO looking forward to this game. I'll probably wait a few weeks after the Wii release to see if anything official is announced as I would prefer it on the 360, but at the least I will own the game :).

Man, this is a bummer.  I know I'm going to buy it on the Wii and it'll release later on 360 with online play, and maybe only be a $15 XBLA game.  Damnit.

I really hope that if it comes to 360 or PS3, that it's a downloadable game. It really doesn't seem to me like it should be anything but that. While I really want to play it, traditional NBA Jam just isn't in-depth enough to be worthy of paying over $20 for these days.

I unofficially think that if you think this game won't be a full $60 retail game on 360 and PS3, you are officially crazy.
