Nobunaga Oda was a powerful lord during Japan's Sengoku period. He appears frequently in historically-themed games as a villain.
One of the main characters of the Touhou Project games and the shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine.
Guan Yu was a general serving under Liu Bei of the Kingdom of Shu. He is one of the best known historical figures throughout East Asia.
Sworn brother to Liu Bei and Guan Yu. Rumored to have the strength of a thousand men. One of the Five Tiger Generals.
Cao Cao was a warlord and government official of China's late Han Dynasty. Later in life, he gained control of China's northern plains, which he ruled as Wei, one of three kingdoms of the fractured nation.
Marisa is an important character in the Touhou series. She lives in the Forest of Magic.
One of the many characters in the Touhou Project, she is an evil spirit who resents the Hakurei Shrine, though that resentment fades away in the later games. She is also the one rumored that taught Marisa Kirisame her powers.

Xu Huang was an accomplished warrior during the Three Kingdoms Era of ancient China. He served Cao Cao, and was considered one of his finest generals.
Styled Yuanrang, he is the cousin and loyal vassal of Cao Cao. A stalwart member of the Wei forces during their formative years, he is best remembered today through his portrayal in the Dynasty Warriors franchise.
One of the main characters of the Queen of Duellist series.
Lu Bu is a mighty general from the Three Kingdoms Era of China and has been immortalized in such games as the Dynasty Warriors series and Warriors Orochi. With his trusty horse Red Hare by his side, he rides into battle without fear.

Queen of Duellist character fighting with wrestling body attacks and a whip.

A child-like character who hates being called fat. Joined Cao Cao when one of his officers was kind to Xu Zhu.
Loyal general to Liu Bei and Poster Boy of the Dynasty Warriors series. Once ran into an enemy advancing force to save Liu Bei's baby child. One of the Five Tiger Generals of the Shu.
The protagonist of the Ys games. Adol Christin is a master swordsman and is a man of very few words.
Second boss in The Queen of Duellist, regular character in later games.
Iolo is one of the main companions of the Avatar, accompanying him on many of his quests. He lives as a bard and bowyer.
A rather hapless and unfortunate ninja who is one of the Rance series' most frequently recurring characters.
The dutiful yet ill-treated companion of Alicesoft's hero Rance.
The eponymous hero of Alicesoft's long-running erotic game series. He is usually accompanied by his long-suffering slave, Sill Plain.
Adol Christin's best friend and travelling compainion. His strength is his most outstanding trait. Works as a thief when Adol first meets him.

Werdna is the evil wizard villain of the Wizardry series of games. His antithesis would be anyone named Andrew.
