I loaded up the multiplayer yesterday evening (after quite a long NFS break) and it couln't fill an hot Pursuit match (I think performance class). 2 on 2 cops and racers was kind of boring... was it a fluke, is everyone running with supercars or is interest in this game declining?

The 1.2 update has already been pushed on PS3, so hopefully this week or early next week. "

The Most Wanted gametype sounds like it'll be a lot like the Crown Vic swarms we did during Hot Pursuit Race Night -- one racer, everyone else is cops. The key is more survival than victory for the racer. Basing that off of assumptions and nothing else, though.
 
Here's hoping this update/DLC will inject a little more life into NFS:HP's online.

It seems like EA decided that pricing to me... I'm going to wait until after it's all out to see if they make it available for a reduced price.

Sounds like the Armed and Dangerous pack is a must-grab for anyone who likes multiplayer, especially since it'll make racer-only events a lot more interesting. The other packs look best suited for people who love Porsches, Lamborghinis, or S-Ranks.
 
Should extend the life of NFS:HP a little more. I see nothing wrong with that!
