...and I expected Need for Speed : The Run to handle just like Hot Pursuit did, which was pretty much like 'the Ridge Racer of my Dreams'. What a shock. I need to brake and care about cornerning to be fast, rather than just timing my drifts while keeping the pedal to the metal. After some brief aggrivation, I 'got it'. Not necessarily my preference, but it's awesome nonetheless.
Now here's the meat of my question. What happend to the optional 'sim' settings, because it feels a bit too flat physics-wise for my taste - especially driving on different surfaces didn't make much of a difference, which was disappointing. Supposedly, we should be able to modify the game to be more 'sim' by the flip of a switch. The omission of this feature in the demo is rather odd. Does anybody know if that's still a thing?
Oh - Frostbite 2 is stunning and sounds insane. The snow level with the avalanches? Dang!
