The Need for Speed series has made a name for itself in the arcade racing genre as one of the most fun racing games. This hasn't changed at all with Need for Speed Underground, where the game takes a different approach on racing. For the first time the game is based on illegal driving,through a fictive city, at night. Also, for the first time you are able to customize your car, including it visual appearance and its performance. It's hard to talk about Need for Speed Underground and not me...

Game play: If you`re expecting this game to have corvettes and Lamborghini`s this game is not the case in underground. You start as a rookie racer in the underground racing league and that is how you build up your rep on your car and in your profile you have 111 races to do including the last final race that mean 112 races. You start with cars like dodge neon, Peugeot, Honda civic and slow cars and the more you race the more you`re car gets faster. When you think about 112 races it seems long bu...

Need for Speed's Underground series gets a lot less reviews than later entries. Weird. It was Underground which somewhat paved the way for these games. Underground has great, realistic driving controls which give the thrill of realistic racing, and it has a cool, editable soundtrack with electronic, rock, and hip hop. There are many cars to buy with a lot of upgrades, including customizable vinyl with plenty of unlockable patterns and colors to choose from, as well as new parts for performance ...
