OT: I'm gonna play it for sure, not convinced it'll be a great game though.

I'll probably get it (though I think I want to play FFXIII-2 first). That trailer made me wonder wither it looks awesome, or terrible... I'm still not sure.

January 31st!? Damn it, I didn't know. I want to pick it up but I'll wait for an idea of its quality. There aren't any other games coming out around that time that I care about so that increases my interest.

I'm stoked for it. Then again, I'm weird like that. Also, this...

I can't wait to never die.

It looks like something I'd be into, but some of the previews don't sound all that positive. I will wait and see the reviews first.

And as sad as it may sound, that E3 trailer is what made me want the game, and made the wait for Th1rt3en even harder.

Certainly on my rental list, if it's actually pretty great after checking it out, might pick it up.

I think the concept is really cool, but the e3 demo makes me feel that it is gonna be clunky.

I just recalled this game the other day and wondered what had happened to it. I still like the concept and while I'm not completely sold on it yet I'll watch it with interest once it comes out.

Thank god, I hear this game is special because in NeverDead you play as a character that can't die.

Seriously though, this game will probably either be mind numbingly awful or hilarious and fun in an awesome Japanese kind of way. I will shit my pants if it turns out to be legitimately good. I do hope it makes for a great QL though.

I feel bad about not even knowing this game existed until this post. It looks kinda awesome though, I really like the story concept.

You need to watch the E3 trailer, because they somehow got Medadeth to write an original song for the game's soundtrack, and it's completely ridiculous that that happened.

Hey, this game exists! I forgotten all about it. I think it's built around a kinda cool idea but I dunno if it's enough to get me to pick it up.

Anyway i saw a trailer for this game almost a year ago and completely forgot about it since. The voice acting annoyed me. It look'd decent other than that though.

I need to start building up my to-buy list for 2012. Right now, I really don't even know what's coming out. 
 
As for the topic, it looks like a dumb, enjoyable romp.

I'm interested in it, but this is going to be a busy first quarter in games not to mention that FFXIII-2 is released on the same day so my chances of playing this game in Q1 is close to 0%.

I've heard Bryce's voice before......

Pretty sure he does voicework in Skyrim, but don't know anyone specifically. Either an Altmer or Dunmer.

I'm going to be completely, brutally honest: the last build I played of this was a complete, abject disaster.

Granted, this was in like late summer, and the producer kept swearing up and down that they were fixing things like the janky ass controls, busted physics, and pretty much horrendous combat, but I'm kinda guessing that they won't be able to fix ALL of that.

Temper expectations, and wait for consensus, if you want my advice.

Definitely a game I'll pick up when the price drops a fair bit.

It seems interesting, definitely waiting to see what other people think of it first though, could be terrible.

I saw some gameplay sections on Playr the other day, it seems like its going to get 3-4 stars.

I'm going to wait for a few reviews and user feedback. There are a few things that worries me about this game. First it is being made by Rebellion and the fact that this is a few IP for Konami and they are putting no marketing behind it. Hell the last trailer they release was around TGS for a game that is being released in less than a week. Seem to me that even the publisher doesn't even have confidence in this game.

I'm saving up for a new phone so my money is spread thin this month, I'll pick it up later in the year.

It's from the fine makers of Rogue Warrior, so fuck no. However I AM looking forward to the QL.

I remember this on that weird pre-e3 Konami thing. It looked kinda bad. Looks like they haven't marketed it at all either. Makes me wonder how something like this even comes into existence...

If anything though it may be good QL material.

This looks like another Shadows of Damned, awesome but completely overlooked. I don't think coming out the same week as FF XIII-2 and Soulcalibur V was a smart move.

Part of me says this will be pretty awesome, the other part says its going to be one long Escort mission. Either way nothing else is out so i'll end up giving it a shot

This game is going to fucking bomb.

Gameplay kinda reminds me of WET and Chili Con Carnage. Hopefully it's less like WET and more like Chili Con Carnage.

My expectations for this game are fairly low, but I haven't seen much of it, to be honest. Good thing we have these things called quick looks.

I started to watch a gameplay video last night but had to pause it and never got back to it. From what I recall, it looked a bit dated. I need to see more before I can decide.

I'm enjoying this game. It plays more like a character action game than a third-person shooter as we've come to expect. The music is great, and I enjoy the humor. Certainly not a triple-a title, but I am having a lot of fun with it.

@Napalm: I ordered it because the Eurogamer review said it had problems, but a bunch of charm. How broken is it if at all?

@GunstarRed: Who said anything about this game being broken? I certainly didn't. Maybe you should be asking that reviewer instead of me, because I have no idea what he's talking about.

@Napalm: haha it looks kinda wonky when youre rolling up body parts. and yknow rogue warrior/shellshock/ japan... I just expect a certain level of brokeness like Shadows of the Damned.

@Napalm: Yeah, I'd say the final game is a step up from a complete abject disaster. It's now graduated to just being kind of a shitty, generic shooter with a barely existent sense of humor.

It's not that bad. Sure, I can see where this game could have been improved, but it is fairly competent at what it does, though it does stumble. At least the combat is varied up a bit, what with the destruction, guns and swordplay.

But, you're also talking to a guy who enjoyed Army Of Two: The 40th Day. I have a feeling you're going to slam this with a two, though. Also, I'd give props to the voice actor for Bryce. His delivery is pretty spot on, even he does repeat a lot of the lines over and over again.
