Neverwinter make's me never want to play it

The game Start's off just fine but takes a nose dive fast with poor quest design, pvp balancing issues, poor dungeon design and a horrendous crafting system that serves no purpose other then to say the game has one.

The game's action based combat seems nice at times No tab targeting as seen in most MMO's in combat you can roll out of the way of a enemy's attack all of the enemy's attack are represented by a red cone on the ground.

Questing is run of the mill dungeon's are not much fun the game's dev team say that they didn't design the dungeon's to need the trinity system Tanks / Healers / DPS but as soon as you hit end game dungeon's you can clearly see that's not the case at all. The game's Auto Group feature fails to match you with healers or tanks five trickster rouge's are not going to get the job done guy's.

Just about everything is designed to take you an overly long time to complete, like crafting - but if you spend money on Zen, and convert to Astral Diamonds then you can speed everything up. Since everything in the game is purchasable with Astral Diamonds. Want epic quality gear? Buy Zen. All gear is BOE by the way speaking of the Zen shop you will encounter 5 or so quests that take you to the Zen shop and let you look around at what they have to sell like 40$ mounts.

PVP is not very good as most of it is just stun/lock combat with no class balance most players are trickster rouge's enemy teams can jump up in your spawn and kill you repeatedly, you can earn PVP points to buy gear with or just do the Zen thing.

    Other reviews for Neverwinter (PC)

Not perfect, but pretty damn impressive for F2P. 0

Neverwinter is sort of a paradox. It's a Dungeons and Dragons MMO for people who don't really care about Dungeons and Dragons. Now don't get me wrong, this has a lot of D&D elements to warrant the name. Familiar areas, monsters, and references will remind even the most casual of D&D players that they are, in fact, playing a D&D game. However, you could have easily called this game "FANTASY ACTION MMO #314" and it would have been just as fitting. None of the usual D&D rules apply....
