I really like this idea. I hate how generic and formulaeic Square's games are, so for them of all people to come out with YO OUR MAIN GUY IS A GIRL WITH THE BOO-HOOS COS SHE'S GOT A DICK is just fabulous.

Here comes the Nier hentai.  I think they are banking on that area to support what otherwise seems a kind of lackluster game that Square seems thrilled with (didn't they already say a sequel was in development?)

I have not a single problem with this. Not a huge fan of masculine futa tho. Confused futa is kind of more interesting.
I'm kind of surprised to see something like that since there is no way they could do anything with that in game. It's not like she is going to run around with her dick flopping all over the place.

Hm, interesting. I guess what it comes down to is if it is an importatant addition to the character and is used to give her some depth, or if it's just a silly gimmick. We'll see, I guess. 
 
I'm not entirely sure the crazy chick in Drakengard she ate her children or if they were just kiilled by the bad(der) guys, but I wouldn't be surprised.

I remember her being a cannibal, and she has children that were dead so she had a weird baby fetish. And that's about it. And I looked it up, they did develop Drakengard(Square made the second one, which was much less crazy). Oh, and Bulletwitch. They're the company where Im totally pro what they're trying to do, they just don't know how to make a fun game.
