    I'm looking to buy Nier, as it really appeals to me - but which version is superior? I know it's not much of a looker, but I'm really fussy about getting the "best version" and I'd like to know if anyone has any opinions.

    It's just go with the version on the console you play most. I'm rather fussy myself but I don't think there is much of a difference. The Ps3 version is a port of the origional Xbox 360 version of Gestalt so I guess get the 360 if you want the closest/best quality? Supposedly you can't tell the difference regardless.

    @MisterBronze: Yeah the PS3 version is the port so if you're looking for the better version get the 360 version, but there most likely isn't much difference.

    I genuinely play both consoles the same amount and have no preference, but if the game was built for 360 first, that sounds like the way to go.
