So while browsing Youtube, I came across this video that, after depicting the very end of Drakengard's E ending, brings up a timeline of events that lead into Nier.  The timieline however, is in Japanese.  Anyone willing and able to translate its contents?:
 
  

This would be awesome to see in English. I was very interested in how the two games were linked but after watching the Ending E from Drakengard it didn't really show or say much at all. 
 
It was even more confusing because I never even played Drakengard. All I seen was a dragon fall from the sky I think? And a city.
