Overview

Nightdive Studios was founded in 2012 with the goal to clear the rights for old games and re-release them on modern platforms. Their first release was System Shock 2 in 2013, which had not been commercially available for 14 years due to previous ownership issues between defunct Looking Glass Studios and the game's original publisher Electronic Arts (Company). On October 9 it was announced that Night Dive Studios were to team up with Tommo's retro oriented publisher division Retroism to bring more titles to the GOGand Steamcatalogues, as well as other digital distribution platforms. Acquired by Atari (Company) in March 2023.
