I've been thinking about diving into the import scene for a few of the modern consoles. The only catch is that my Japanese is non-existent. What DS and 3DS games might you guys recommend taking a look at?

So far I'm considering Taiko no Tatsujin, jump ultimate if I can find it, and Ouendan 2.

If you haven't already, Puyo Puyo Tetris is on 3DS too. Ouendan1 is a fairly different game to Elite beat agents, worth it too. They currently have Picross 3d 2, those are great, but might come here.

If you want to play Japanese 3DS games you need a separate Japanese 3DS since the system is region locked.

tyty: yeah, I wanna get puyo puyo on PS4, easier to sit and play with my girlfriend. I'll definitely give the others a shot.

Mixedupzombies: I haven't decided if I want to flash the 3ds to remove the region lock or just pony up the 100 for a base Japanese model.
