Not my DS, but my brother is sporting a black Nintendo DS Lite. Such a fingerprint magnet. Matte on the inside and gloss on the outside is so mind boggling.

The Nintendo DS is a handheld featuring two screens, one of which is a resistive touchscreen. Four different models are available: the original DS, the DS Lite, the DSi, the DSi XL.
What color DS do you have?
That electric blue one. I thought it looked kinda cool and didn't want the blegh black one, so I picked it up. When I brought it home, my older brother said, "Why'd you get that gay color?" It hurt, but I figgered it was just his... jerkiness.
However, when I showed my gal pal a picture of the stock blue DSi from the internet, she asked "Does your's look as gay as this one?". God, I hate everybody.
I've got a white Lite and I'm never buying another no matter how much bigger Nintendo makes the screen, dammit.

First I got a pink one, cause back then you could only choose between black, white and pink, so naturally I chose the bravest color. When the guy at the story asked me what color I wanted and I said pink he went "Really?" to which I replied "Yes, pink is the shit!"
Then I got a black one, because none of my friends had a DS yet and I wanted to play some of the multiplayer games I had with them.
Later one of my friends was saving money to go to japan but still wanted to get Pokemon when it came out so I offered to trade him the older of my DS's (the pink one) as well as a game he could trade in to offset some of the cost of the game (at the time "GAME" had a special selection of popular games you could trade in to get Pokemon alot cheaper and I hadn't really cared for Yoshi's island DS anyway).
Ofcourse now I only had one DS again but my other friend had gotten a DS of his own anyway. All was well until the L trigger on my black DS stopped working and then the screen folding thingy got real loose. So I . bought a silver colored one that had just come out.
I still keep my black DS around though since it's still good for multiplayer DS games that don't require the L trigger.
Though at first I read:
White (it's practically my girlfriend)
:O
You can fix the trigger by folding you lips around it and blowing it. Dust particles tend to get between the receptors with the DS lite. I believe Nintendo actually fixed this on the DSi." edit: Oh and black DS lite, fingerprints heaven.
Also yeah, big up on the silver model that you don't have to see all those prints, it just makes it feel so filthy.
" DS:Just that first bit applies to me.
Silver
DS Lite:
Black
White (practically my girlfriends)
Red & Black
DSi: Black "
Though, I'll be picking up a new DSi when those bigger ones come out around May.
Still have my silver US launch DS, but I'll be replacing the shell soon with either a white or pink shell (or perhaps both). No offense to all those who bought new DSes because they had a different color, but I personally think it's a waste of money to pay a 150 bucks for an entirely new system when I can just replace the shell for 10. :P
Hopefully I won't break the thing in the process... But if I do I guess that'll give me an excuse to pick up a DSi XL (bigger screen > smaller/lighter handheld).
I have that "Hot Rod" red original DS that was bundled with Mario Kart almost 4 years ago. After the DS lite came out I told myself I'd get on of those once that one kicked the bucket, but of course like every Nintendo product it's damn near indestructible. I don't even know how many times I've the dropped the damn thing and it didn't break. Thankfully my bro picked up a black DSi when it came out, so when I'm home during the summer and Holidays I can just use that.
Black, but with a red stylus - I managed to misplace the original somewhere.
Oh, and it's also sporting a brand new crack in the hinge near the power light. I take pretty good care of my wee gem and was bamboozled as to how it could have happened. I've since found out this is a common flaw with the DS Lite. I feel a little better about it, but not as much as I would if it hadn't happened at all.
Of course, it's a good excuse to buy a new one and palm the cracked one off to the missus.
