Guys! Nintendo Switch now comes bundled with LOTZ;BOTW and 1-2 Switch!

My game shop just told me so

@stucket: Which shop, what country and why would they do that? I mean they're going to sell through the launch inventory anyhow.

Oh, well, my uncle works for Nintendo and he said the Switch will also do your laundry for you.

It's probably a convenience pre-order bundle, with little or no discount compared to getting the items separately. I'd imagine it would be a good way to move copies of 1-2 Switch to people who don't know what games to get...

Is this one of those "bundles" where you can only buy the console if you also pay full price for two games?

Also, the Switch desperately needs to 1-2 Switch and Zelda to be a pack in with each console. I considered actually buying one when I saw OP's post.

Which of your Uncles told you about this?

They would probably entice me if the 2 game pack discounted one of the games by 50% or something. Then I would end up spending more money by getting 1 2 Switch at 50% off whereas I never would have gotten it otherwise.

I'm hoping that Nintendo in teh next few weeks decides that 1-2 Switch will be free. Maybe not packed in for launch, but at the store just handing a copy to teh customer while Nintendo pays the bill. Later they can make it a true pack-in.

I think the Switch needs that game in every system. It might not be much or even teh hit that Wii Sports was , but I think it would be the proper fuel to get Switch off the ground. They can sell Zelda, because THAT people will buy. But 1-2 Switch they really would be better served as part enticement and part showing off what it can do that is interesting.
