Poll Which Nintendo racing series do you want to see a sequel out of the most? (171 votes)
Wipeout really doesn’t do it for me, I need an F-Zero in my life.
I’d love to see F-Zero return, tho Wave Race would be pretty cool.

I have been hoping against hope since the switch release that they either announce a new F-Zero or port GX at the absolute least.
F-Zero.
But also, screw this poll! Excite-Truck was dope! Where's Uniracer!? Kirby's Air Ride... wasn't a very good game, but it still deserves recognition dammit!
But, yeah. F-Zero.
I voted F-Zero but my heart belongs to Diddy Kong Racing. I'm not a fan of Rare's platformers but the system of level progression fit just right in that style of racing game. You also had to use and be good at each of the 3 styles of vehicles and there were plenty of secrets to find.
But the real world of Microsoft owns Rare makes seeing this game just a dream.
F-Zero.
What happened to that rumored Star Fox Grand Prix game? At first I thought it sounded dumb, but then I thought what if Fox wrecked his Arwing, and had to make money in Wipeout/F-Zero style racing in order repair and upgrade the Arwing. Then he can fly off planet and hunt bounties, complete missions, and fight Andross.
As much as I loved Diddy Kong Racing and its structure at the time, since you didn't put Snowboard Kids I'll go with F-Zero. The Gamecube one was just so god damn fast.
Though Fast RMX is a pretty neat future racing game on the Switch, since so many people here seem to ache for that.
Wave Race by far. Sure F-Zero would be cool as well, but for some reason I never liked it as much as Wipeout. Wave Race is just so unique and an incredibly rare type of game. The last water racing game I think that was made for any system was what? Riptide GP Renegade? Which was also a damn cell phone game. So yeah I really, really want a new water racing game that looks like something from this generation. I had a small amount of hope for The Crew 2 boat racing, but it sucks.
F-Zero, no contest. Diddy Kong Racing was pretty cool but Mario Kart is the king of kart games and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed was like DKR but better.
Diddy Kong Racing on the N64 Mini would be fun though.
F-zero is the obvious answer here, for sure.
I will say though 1080 was pretty great, and had a pretty unique control method of constantly having to keep the board properly angled on the terrain to maintain speed, as opposed to just being a simple "go fast" button. It was as much a game about balance as anything. Pretty underrated, it seems. I wouldn't mind seeing a modern version of that, personally.
