Yeah **** this guy. Any advice? I gather I need to hit the legs make him fall then hit the head which I've done once and got maybe a 1/5 of his health off. Can't seem to avoid those foot stomps.

Seriously though, You're on the right track. As far as I recall, you hack at the crystals on his feet and then Hanzo does something, skeleton falls and you hack the crystals on his head.

Also, if you activate the three red crystals around the area before starting, there will be areas around the boss arena that recharge your living weapon. Also he is super weak to wind attacks.

So fun fact: unless they patched something I'm unaware of, magic actually makes this fight absurdly trival. As in you can beat it like maybe 2 minutes. I put most of my points into magic and equipped all the shot talismans I could (not specifically for this boss, it's just the way I played the game lol). Keeps blasting away and he'll be down in no time.
