It's Hard To Argue With This No More Heroes 2 Trailer
Finally, at least one of the many great pre-E3 Wii game announcements shows up here. Still, I must say I can't think of any flaws that rendered the original "unplayable" for anyone though. Perhaps quite a bit less than stellar, but calling it unplayable is quite a far fetched statement, that's for sure. And yes, you're right, most of the "flaws" were very intentional but I suppose that's not the real point here. Also, why not pair some of the new information with this post, like the rank 51 bit and other good stuff that are sure to hype real Suda51 fans?
The game looks entirely awesome, it seems just as in love with being a videogame as the first game is.
I am glad you also realize that what the masses may consider flaws, are in fact fully intentional. Nobody in the industry would even consider attempting to do some of the things Suda did with the original, lol. Those that have played the original game fully, will no what I am talking about.
It epitomizes the spirit of punk so well, it's raw and gritty an does not give **** about being so. It laughs in the face of games which are in stark contrast to it.
He throws two soul sisters, as if they are paper - The character you mention is called Nathan Copeland I believe, he has a removable afro by the looks of things, lol. (seen character art with him wearing one) He also has as ghetto blaster which transforms into a arsenal of weaponry, some of that is seen in the trailer.
It looks way better all round on the evidence of this. The frame rate will be firmer everywhere, and the over world environment will be a lot stronger too. Grasshopper have said Santa Destroy is more interesting and a lot larger than before. Suda has also promised that the combat will be even more fun and varied, including the dual wielding and a host of new wrestling moves for Travis.
I bet Kevin Van Ord is happy, I know he loves the game as much as I do.
"Preggers" is a very English term..
My most anticipated E3 game, cannot wait :)
The original I <3
Wow lightboner! Wish this wasn't all on the Wii and stuff...boo!
This game would simply not work on any other platform, it was designed by Suda specifically for Wii.
Wii Remote controls are essential to the gameplay hook.
I see Travis is channeling his inner Sith...
If anyone in Europe is wondering about the content and cuts, Grasshopper have already stated that two versions will be available in Europe - "Mild" & "Extreme"
Perfect. This game seems to be going in exactly the direction I would want a No More Heroes sequel to go.
Great trailer.
I loved the hell out of the first one. It's one of my top favorite Wii games. Even though I cannot beat Jeane for the life of me and I have no idea why.
This will be a day of purchase for me. It's Ballsy and Humorous, and clever. Something I wish MadWorld was at times.
Awesome trailer, duel lightsabers and lightsaber staff is awesome. It also looks like the combat seams smoother? or faster pace. Also, I hope there is more Wiimote phonecalls. Yea they were hard to hear but it was an awesome idea.
The last scene was epic. And this game looks pretty cool. Maybe this will give me a reason to dust off my Wii.
This is what games and trailers are ment to be !!!! Also "if you get me preggers promise you won't ditch me ok" lmao. xD
I enjoyed NMH but couldn't be bothered to finish it. This looks pretty more of the same. I'll probably give it a try because I like to support Mature titles on the Wii. But it's really not my bag.
My experience with NMH was a little weird, and it's happened a few times with Wii games. I bought it when it came out in January, but didn't get around to really playing it until May. Once I did, I played it for something like 18 hours in two days and beat it.
I'm not going to say it was a terribly well designed game (perhaps on purpose), but it was an amazing experience. It's one of those games I think you need to have gone through to fully be a part of the conversation in video game land.
great trailer
now u have two swords......=)
i actually heard that XSEED games will be publishing NMH2
First one was fun, not good enough for me to play to the end though. Hopefully this one mixes it up a little bit more to keep it engaging.
