    A now-defunct Japanese development company, once owned by SNK. Noise Factory mainly worked on action games from SNK's various franchises, most notably Metal Slug.

    Overview

    Noise Factory opened on January 18th, 1998. Although its first game, the 1999 arcade beat-em-up Gaia Crusaders, was an independent production, Noise Factory spent most of its life as a second party studio for SNK and later Atlus, occasionally picking up licensed game projects. until its sudden closure in March of 2017.
