The games unique combat mechanic and destructible environment turn each match into an emotional rollercoaster. The players spawn on one of 6 small planets and have to catch each other with their character’s catch rays. Catching a player requires him or her to be stunned first, so the players have to attack using the 14 different weapons and items from item boxes appearing all over the planet’s surface. Once a player is stunned, anyone can activate his or her catch ray to begin the catch process. This takes a few seconds and can be interrupted by either running away or stunning the attacker. Action-packed duels ensue as players struggle for survival and turn the tables again and again!

Once caught, a player is sent into orbit until the end of a round. From up there, he or she can stalk the remaining players and send down powerful laser beams. These beams are able to stun players and keep them on the move.

As a round goes on, explosions from the different weapons, items and orbital lasers destroy the planet itself. Small and big craters unveil the deadly core of each planet and make traversing its surface more and more challenging. Touching a planet’s core more than once will also sent a player directly into safe orbit while also reducing his or her score by 1 point.

The players have various options to customize each match. Adding bots to local matches, adjusting the game speed or a planet’s gravity and choosing which items are available ingame: All these options and more allow for a lot of variety in gameplay.
