    Overview

    Oakvale a town in Albion. It has been featured in Fable, Fable: The Lost Chapters, Fable: Anniversary & Fable II.

    Fable

    Oakvale first appears as the opening settlement in Fable. The Hero must perform good or bad deeds around the town to earn enough money in order to buy chocolates for his sister, Theresa. When the Hero visits Theresa near the outskirts of Oakvale, the town is attacked by bandits and almost burned down.

    Sometime later, the Hero finds his father dead, with his mother and sister nowhere to be found. Around this time, a mysterious figure named Maze offers to take the boy to live and train at the Hero's Guild so he can learn what it takes to be a real Hero.

    Fable II

    Oakvale also appears in Fable II as a swampy, abandoned city.
