Who agrees with me that the Oblivion gates are too hard to close? The guys who guard it are way too strong!

I found it rather easy if I remember correctly, but then again the last time I played this game was one and a half years ago.

If you pick major skills for your character that you dont use, the game can be hard though. Slide the difficulty down or something.

Most of the gates arent compulsory anyway.

Its not so much closing it, but more of the enemies that are hard.

you realise you can just run past every enemy in a gate and still get the stone at the end

They all close once you complete the main story.

You realize yyou can turn the difficulty down in this game

if you do what i did on my first playthrough and did not level up properly then yeah they can be hella hard. the first time i met flame atronachs i struggled a lot.
but if you level up properly they are much easier to deal with. the only problem i have with the gates now is that some of them take ages to get through

It's not hard... Just astronomically boring. I never finished the main quest line in that game because of the part where you have to close like five in succession. Got bored after two and did some DB/Guild quests.

Not that hard, just too long and confusing at some times. Its kinda of repetive and yeah boring.

i had some problems early with the first gate, however once youve levelled up sufficiently through all the other game quests it becomes so easy its just boring like everyone has said. 

Once you get to level 25 and above it feels practically impossible to die unless you dive off a big cliff.  This was where the game got stale to me and i havent finished it still.

First time, I found it hard but from then on, I knew exactly what to do and found it so incredibly tedious.
