Complete move list for character actions that are already in the game itself. Usually accessed via pause menu.

Russian Accent

Characters who speak with a Russian accent.

Cryokinesis

Cryokinesis is the manipulation of ice. Also known as Ice Manipulation or Cryomancy. Users can generate, shape, and control ice to their will.

Teenager

People who are aged during the growth period of adolescence, traditionally between 13 and 17 years old.

Students

Those that attend a school seeking knowledge. In many video games (especially RPGs) students, most commonly high school students, are the protagonist of the game.

Psychics

People who have Psychic Abilities. They appear in games, often using their abilities as weapons (Example: Telekinesis in Psychonauts)

Joke Ending

Game endings that are meant to be absurd and that fly in the face of a dramatic storyline. Joke endings are often included as bonuses that require the player to beat the game a certain way in order to be seen.

Super Combo

A special combo-move in fighting games that is executable after building a meter throughout the match (or round).

Infinite Combo

A combo that can be extended indefinitely. They are often unintentional inclusions in the game, though they undeniably shape the games for better or worse

Super Armor

In fighting games, Super Armor is a property that prevents a character from flinching when hit by an opponent's attack, though he or she still suffers damage of some sort.

Charge Character

A fighting game character whose move set is based around charging (holding back for 30 frames, then forward + attack)

Divekick

A divekick is a gravity-defying move found in many fighting games that allows an airborne fighter to propel themselves downward at their opponent at a high rate of speed.

Grapple Break

Grapple Breaks prevent a character from being grabbed/thrown.

Muay Thai

Muay Thai is a form of martial arts that is the national sport in Thailand. Modern kickboxing is a derivative of Muay Thai designed specifically as a counter to it.

Janitor

A janitor is a person whose job is to clean and take care of a building and its surrounding grounds. Fiction often portrays them to be simple and folksy, or pretending to be such whilst hiding an underlying nature.

Rekka is an archetype in Fighting Games that had 2-3 district hits and it moves in the each hit with little to no pause. but the first part is on block and you'll continue into the later parts as hit confirms.

"The gentle way", a martial art focused on grapples and throws.

Principal

When a game lacks the ability to "Pause" Game Play by pressing Start on a game console controller (or some other button on a keyboard/mouse).

Beginning Levels in Danger

Games that contain levels/missions/chapters where the player starts off in immediate danger.

Poison

Simulating the effects of a great variety of poisons, toxins, venoms and nerve agents can lead to many unique and interesting mechanics. A classic trope in games, Poison usually deals small amounts of damage to health over time.

Dimension Travel

Games that fit this category involve characters that can traverse different dimensions.

Limb Targeting

Limb Targeting is the ability to target specific limbs on the body with the object being either to disable the limb or kill the target faster. It may also be referred to as the "Limb System" or "Localized Damage".

Talking Animal

Animals that have the ability of speech and in some cases are anthropomorphic.

Overworld

An overworld is a simplified view of the game world that allows players to freely move to different locations or levels.

Mentor

Many great heroes had to learn their skills from someone. This person would be the one.

Parents

Everyone that is born has parents. These games feature adults with children of their own.

Enemies Emerging From Eggs

Eggs or cocoons that give way to enemies.

Camel

Camels are often used as transport in order to easily traverse sandy environments.
