Overview
Overload is a six-degrees-of-freedom (6DoF) shoot 'em up from the original creators of Descent and is considered a spiritual successor to that franchise. With 6DoF, the player views the world from a first-person cockpit and can move their craft forwards, backwards, left, right, up, and down. Interior levels are built with all six directions in mind, creating elaborate and labyrinthine environments to explore with enemies and other hazards to destroy or evade.
The game supports online multiplayer, Tobii eye-tracking, and virtual reality headsets like the Oculus Rift and Vive.
