P Studio is an internal development team within Atlus (Company) devoted to the development of the Persona (Franchise) series. The team was formed from the already existing Persona development team that had been responsible for Persona 3 and Persona 4, in addition to their remakes. History
P Studio was formally created on October 19, 2012 along with its official trademark in Japan's trademark database "for use with video games and online games." However, the "Persona Team" had been referred to oftentimes before then as the development team responsible for Catherine, Persona 4 Arena and Persona 4 Golden. The studio's logo first appeared on the back of the Persona 4 Golden (Game) box on June 14, 2012.
