    Overview

    Paccie is allegedly a game released in 2004 for the PlayStation 2 by Phoenix Games. It likely is supposed to be a Pac-Man clone, based on the cover and name.

    No screenshots or footage of Paccie is known to exist, and nobody has proven to own a copy. As the cover art is the only thing that can be found of it (and its cover art was stolen from a 1994 fan art of Pac-Man for a raytracing art competition), and the cover doesn't seem to be in any of Phoenix' catalog on their website (even on internet archives), it has been speculated to be a hoax. However, Phoenix has known to steal art assets from other productions and fan art, and it has shown up as out-of-stock on various online storefronts, both contemporary to its alleged release, and current day - thus giving credence to it being a placeholder.

    The "game" also has infamy as the name is a homonym for a British slur for Pakistani people.
