Formed during the merger of PAN Interactive, Vision Park, IQ Media Nordic, Levande Böcker and Young Genius in June 2000. Originally they published both games, educational software and movies, but the movie department was sold to Scanbox Entertainment in 2011. Up until 2017 they were a second-tier subsidiary of Kooperativa Förbundet's KF Media, but as of 2019 PAN Vision Group is operating directly under Kooperativa Förbundet.

In their first few years their primary focus was on educational games and historical simulators, but now serve as the Nordic distributor for Activision Blizzard, Bandai Namco, Bergsala (Nintendo), Capcom, EA, Turtle Beach, Focus Home Interactive and Ubisoft.
