    Panzer Corps

Panzer Corps is a fun and accessible war-game. I know, I know hexes are scary but don’t let that deter you too much. If you can put up with a little sparsity in its presentation Panzer Corps is an engaging and expansive strategy game.

The base campaign sees you taking control of the German army during WW2 and you will visit most of the fronts in the European war. The game also uses a semi dynamic campaign which will give you access to new missions depending on your performance.

It also features my favorite thing in strategy games, persistent units. througout the campaign your units will gain experience and perks that in the end can have a big effect on your units survivability. It almost goes without saying that your dead units will stay dead. A more personalized core force might have been even better but what is there is engaging and fun.

In the end Panzer Corps is fun and easy get started in and I reccommend it to anyone who likes a bit more challenge in their strategy games without going full Hearts of iron. The only thing I can really say against it is that it might be a tad over priced without a sale and that its simple presentation makes the ipad version more attractive than the PC.
