Man that's crazy looking. Aesthetic reminds me of Zeno Clash.

Papo & Yo
Game » consists of 2 releases. Released Aug 14, 2012
Acting as a metaphor for addiction and escaping a hard reality through imagination, this depressing, though poignant game combines environmental manipulation and AI interaction to create a story-driven puzzle experience.
There's More Going On In Papo & Yo Than It First Appears
Looks great. Really want to play this!

This is really intriguing but I still don't feel like I understand what the gameplay is...
Run or frog addicted monster will eat your brains. Oh, and there's puzzles
Woah, definitely seeing Zeno clash too. Maybe a bit of "Where the Wild Things Are". Really neat feel to it.
Love that a game is trying to comment on drug use and its affects on relationships. Hope it all comes together. If I remember correctly, the developer talked about how it's about his (or his fathers?) experience with drugs and what it did to their relationship.

Seems to be from a child's perspective, that you can find a "cure" for this person's addiction while they're not being the monster, and things will turn out ok...nice if it were that simple.
Thank god. Even if this sucks, at least it's something different.Yep. I just hope the narrative comes together and is supported by the rest of the game. Would love it if it came to PC.
Glad to see a game commenting on issues deeper than just shooting dudes in the face. Although honestly, I kind of wish that the whole game had that awesome doodled style at the beginning of the trailer.

His father's, and it was alchoholism, I'm fairly sure.
Why is it called Papo & Yo if the characters are named Quico, Yula and Monster?Because it means "Father and I"
