    A hand carried particle beam acceleration weapon. Its range is basically only limited by its 5 or 10x zoom scope.

    The covenant equivalent to the sniper rifle. Usually used by covenant snipers (jackals) to pick off enemies from a distance. The weapon can shoot faster then the sniper rifle but overheats when shot too quickly. Its other advantage is that it is a lot quieter making it the more covert of the two snipers.
