Overview
Paula is first depicted as an antagonist, as she--along with many other 'stalkers'--opens fire on one of the two protagonists, Regina. However Regina manages to subdue and capture her. While she is still uncooperative towards Regina and seemingly lacks the ability to speak, she is shown to be much calmer around Dylan Morton and expresses a strange fascination towards him.
While initially handcuffed to a pipe at Dylan's ship, she eventually escapes, only to inadvertently arrive to save Dylan from an attacking stalker. Later on she motions Dylan to follow her to a facility building. There Dylan discovers that Paula is in fact his daughter, or rather she is the daughter to a much older Dylan in this current timeline set in the future.
During their attempts to escape from this time, a large machine falls on Paula disallowing her to move. Rather than leave with Regina through the timegate, Dylan opts to stay behind with Paula, asking Regina to go on her own and then travel back in time again to save the two.
