Overkill and Lionsgate just announced that you can play as Keanu Reeves' newest portrayal in a free update to PAYDAY 2. The update also adds a new knife, gun, a new skill tree that allows for Akimbo guns, and three pairs of "cool-looking sunglasses to customize and wear".

As a fan of the game the content sounds pretty harmless, but I can't get over how lame this cross-promotion seems after the recent Hotline Miami one. Whatever.

Your thoughts? To add a little more discussion, would you prefer stuff like this over full, cheap tie-in games?

Actually, I think John Wick the movie looks pretty good. I dunno about this stuff, but I'll probably go see that movie.

@mooseymcman: Well trailer for you, 100% reviews for me; everyone's happy (except the OP)! Some of the trailer was good and the film appears to be stylish but there was still some cringe-worthy stuff I thought. There's plenty of movies with good trailers that sucked and bad trailers that wound up being good though.

Having just finished writing my review, I can confirm this. Also, that it is complete nonsense. Which is why it's very good. It's very aware of what it is and what it wants and boy does it do those things to a T.
