Maybe only time will tell. 32%

I'm a fan of the original Payday and I look forward to the sequel. Seem like they made some improvements and added alot more levels. I can't wait for this game to drop in august.

I loved the first game and this one looks like a vast improvement, so yeah I plan to buy, if not day 1 then somewhere down the line. I'm hoping they mix up the gameplay more than the first. Really curious to see how the game turns out since I like Starbreeze a lot, and adding David Goldfarb as lead designer was an interesting choice. IGN did a bunch of commentary let's play a while back that made it awesome.

Yeah, having starbreeze help make the game was a great idea. I hope everything comes together well.

As you can tell by my avatar, I loved the first game. It is my most played game on Steam. It came out in October 2011 so I think most people just missed it altogether which is a real shame. It plays really well, it executes well upon an awesome concept and the soundtrack is brilliant of course as Simon Viklund composed it. I think the first game is on sale for about $5 on Steam right now. I highly recommend it.

As a result, I am very excited for Payday 2.

Not really interested in the game, but I'll probably enjoy the Quick Look.

Never had a chance to play the first game, but as someone who loves Heat I think I'll have to indulge.

That clown mask makes me irrationally furious, I do not want to look at it for another second and I cannot articulate why, good thing the game is in first person.

Really enjoyed the first game, so I will almost certainly be getting the second. It was an ideal game for chilling with your mates and having a few brewskies on a Friday night. I don't know why, but it always managed to scratch an itch that other co-op games like left 4 dead couldn't reach.

Not for £25 I am not. If it was cheaper then maybe, but I guess I'll be waiting for a sale.

I kept hearing good things about the first, and I'm pretty excited from what I've seen so far, but I feel like without a local crew of four it wouldn't be quite as fun.

I maintain the first Payday is the best co-op shooter of its kind and still play it frequently today. I have already purchased Payday 2 because it looks like it's addressing all the problems the first game had.

It's just sat on my steam list...looking at me.

    Nope doesn't interest me.

Only game that still holds my interest before the new generation rolls around is GTA5.

Thought the first game had a lot of neat ideas going on, but might have been held back by a small budget. With 505 publishing this, looking forward to seeing what Overkill can do with a (presumably) larger budget.

the first game got boring quick, but ill pick up the 2nd one on a price drop....they improved on the boringness of the game and it plays a lot more like a campaign map rather than a left 4 dead style...was watching the devs stream some missions of it on twitch last week

I haven't been so excited for a first person shooter, in a long time! I've been so fatigued on them, I guess because it's all I used to play and now all I play is 3rd person action/adventures. If it wasn't more than just an FPS, I probably wouldn't care at all, but the possibility of going completely silent or totally FUBAR, has me from day one of hearing of this.

First game was aggressively mediocre in my opinion. New one looks improved, but not enough to interest me.

Game looks great but I will not be buying it for one reason, I can't play with my brother because of the supposed PS3 DRM. Only one user can play at a time and it has to be on the account it was bought on. AND why is it $40 on PS3 and $30 on PC? Cmon I thought we were past this.

It's a decent shooter, but sense the 2nd game will release soon. It will probably be best to play that sense its more improved.

Yes! I'm excited about the interplay between the classes along with the silliness of an upgradable safehouse with a vault where you can see all your money. How can you not want to be part of a heist?!
