Hey guys, I've just ordered a new gaming rig so that i can finally get into PC Gaming. I have a lot to learn though:  
 
If a game has both GFW and Steam achievement support, can you get both of these sets at the same time (if you're running it via steam) or is it an either/or prospect.

usually a game that has GFWL achievements doesn't support steam achievements at the same time, but I could be wrong on that.

I've never seen any games support both.

DIrt 2 and Red Faction: Guerilla have both. 
 
Edit: infact I'm not sure if either do. Don't care for steam achievements. Just I got both of them through steam but get GFWL access still

Just Cause 2 and Metro 2033 both have Steam achievements on the PC and XBL achievements on the 360, so you can earn both for those games, but yeah, there aren't any games out there that I know of that use both at the same time.

There are games that use both GFWL and steam however as of this date there are no games that utilize both sets of achievements.  Though in theory there's no reason they can't.

Definitely not at the same time so far, think more devs are just sticking w/ Steam achievements due to its overwhelming market share.
