Any ways I can improve this rig?

Hey guys, I've been having a lot of recurring problems with my current PC. Pissed off I decided I needed an update, problem was my old board didn't support the new i5 processors. Ugh. Anyways so I decided to build an entirely new Computer that could last for a while. I want to play games at 1680x1050 and have a budget of around 900 USD and this new rig is going to cost me 899. Thing is the most I can save the better, so are there any changes I can do to the rig to be able to run current and future games maxed out  or is this the minimum I'd need for futureproofing?

    Config:
    • Intel Core i5-2500k 3.30 Ghz 6M
    • Nvidia Gefore GTX 570 1.2Gb (EVGA Superclocked)
    • 4GB (2GBx2) DDR3/1600Mhz
    • 1TB SATA-III
    • Asus P8H67-M LE Motherboard

Because we already know the Battlefield 3 requirements and it seems like I'd fill all requirements easily no?

    Minimum requirements for Battlefield 3

    • OS: Windows Vista or Windows 7
    • Processor: Core 2 Duo @ 2.0GHz
    • RAM: 2GB
    • Graphic card: DirectX 10 or 11 compatible Nvidia or AMD ATI card.
    • Graphics card memory: 512 MB
    • Hard drive: 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version

Recommended system requirements for Battlefield 3

    • OS: Windows 7 64-bit
    • Processor: Quad-core Intel or AMD CPU
    • RAM: 4GB
    • Graphics card: DirectX 11 Nvidia or AMD ATI card, GeForce GTX 460, Radeon Radeon HD 6850
    • Graphics card memory: 1 GB
    • Hard drive: 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version

I believe those are not official requirements yet. I guess head over to the BF3 forums and see how the Alpha has been running for people and their system specs and sort of go off that.

Either way with that set up, I don't think you'll have much problem playing recent games especially at that resolution.

With that resolution, you can definitely just get a GTX460.

@Ghooble: Thanks to you and all of you but I ended up going with what I had but changed the 4GB to 8GB and the motherboard to a Z68 one :) People are playing the alpha with way less so I think I'm set =D
