Something from inside the cockpit with force feedback joystick support? Especially anything made recently or in the works?

Anybody know of any hardcore space flight sims coming out?
"Try the latest Flight simulator game. As far as i know its the most realistic.I think he wants a space game
"
X3 : reunion is about the best your ever gonna get for a space flight sim... its amazing and you wont be disapointed.... I-War is about the only other game i can think of, but Jumpgate evolution will be coming out at some point that is a space mmo that is more to do with dogfighting then anything that will be joystik enabled........
Space is to hard to simulate... fact that no ones been there that is a game designer and thats its so big... why do you think Flight Sim is only released every 4 years or so.
well, usually reason why flight sim is only released every few years is because it takes the average consumer that long to find a machine that'll run it..... as a whole no one can usually run a MS Flight Sim game when its released, because of all the world rendering it just kicks the hell out of your hardware.....
This has been one in devolopement for a long time..Its being made bye one person believe it or not...
Its not a very recent game but I just got done playing Dark Star One. Give it a try it you havent already. There was also another one out there that i played, cant rember the name but it has Bruce Cambell doing the protagonists voice. I think it was called Tahcyon:Beyond the Fringe. Anyway Bruce Cambell is in it and anything with Bruce Cambell in it is epic in my book.
Just read this on teletext (UK) but luckily it's on the web too, not much information to be had but Elite 4 looks to be in the works.

Can you get more 'hardcore' than Elite? The second game even had a chapter in the manual called The Mechanics of Space Flight by David Braben himself.
Of course Elite is old, I'm talking about the next one, number 4, which isn't out yet, so can't possibly be old. Also, since it's not out yet why speculate on what's needed to run it? And what do you mean when you say 'only for computers' when this is in the PC forum?
Edit: Looks like it won't even begin production until the release of the Outsider, high probability of being vapourware anyway.
Orbiter is the way to go IMO.
It's free, but don't let that put you off - it's very realistic and in depth. I first played it about 7 months ago and there's still loads for me to learn.
Check out the GB page for it, I filled out quite a bit of info on it. Plus, it has a great community building add ons pretty much all the time.
I thouroughly recommend it.
