I was wondering if anyone might happen to know the "addons" this guys is using, I know of rocket dock, but what  is the clock, and HDD space thing, etc.

I found it, the program is called Rainmeter, and then it uses the skin HUD vision.

That's awesome I really like that desktop.

Lots of customization can be found over at Deviantart.com and Lifehacker spotlights a few deskstops here and there.  With a little work, you can use Rainmeter or Samurai to create a desktop with visual widgets of sorts.

Looks like the dock is Stardock's ObjectDock. I assume it's Vista, but if it's not it could be using WindowBlinds as well (also Stardock) or a modified uxtheme.dll.

Microsoft did a good job of taking ideas from Apple, definitely doesn't look like an eyesore like previous Windows operating systems.
