Peggle? Seriously? I don't want to bash small casual games here and I really like peggle, it's a whole lot of fun, but it definately isn't one of the greatest games of all time.... The list is ok but they need to change places of alot of those games and also games like Warcraft 3 and TES Morrowind over Oblivion should be in there aswell.
Also, how does one game you don't agree with make the whole list awful? Just curious, as that is a very critically acclaimed game whether you like it or not.
I agree with adding those game you listed, and taking off stuff like Peggle and Crysis. Maybe it should be "best 40 PC games".

I thought Deadly Shadows was supposed to be one of those godly awesome games? Or is this in your opinion, and not just the games which are kinda obvious?
1.) A bunch of games that aren't really that good are on it. 2.) They came up with 17 games that aren't better than TIE Fighter and said they were better than TIE Fighter. 3.) World of Warcraft was #1, meaning this was obviously written by a WoW fanboi who likes dumbed down gameplay and horrible progress quests. 4.) I could go on, but I'm lazy.

It's good, but I would not put it on my list. I've never heard of it refered to a godly awesome game though. It didn't do that well critically.

I can understand games like WoW, Counterstrike and Sims 2 being on the list because of their popularity, but the list is still garbage.
Seriously? How many damn threads are you going to bring up that game in. It obviously doesn't belong on a "greatest of" list in anyone's world but your own.

There are some games in a bad order, and some games that do not deserve to be on there. But I think most of the list is solid.
World of fucking Warcraft as #1!? What a fucking joke. Deus Ex, Grim Fandango, Half-Life, and StarCraft(2 will probably surpass it), Red Alert 2 are the best PC games I've ever played. Screw this list.
I think they had a great list, could of taken out a few games, added some more (W3 and EQ off the top of my head) and changed the places around.
Like WoW is phenomenal. Like it is REALLY phenomenal!!!! But #1 off all time is pushing it. And many of these legendairy games should be a higher place. Take the OB off, put Oblivion lower. Take off Sims 2. Change the places around, etc.
I'm going to say it bluntly, that lists order was fucking stupid. The games listed deserved to be there but the order in which they appear was just wrong, just so very wrong.

The list had some pretty good picks, but a lot more duds than goodies. I mean, Oblivion is good and all, BUT #6????? no way in hell. Likewise, WoW IS NOT AND WILL NEVER BE THE BEST PC GAME OF ALL TIME. WHAT THE F*CK!?!?!?!?!?!? It's more of a tutorial on how to right-click than anything.

I agreed with some of it. A lot of the games I hadn't played so I don't have an opinion. But some of the games... WoW? Oblivion? Peggle?! A popcap game?!
And I agree with Levio. Put M&B on the list. :P
Either way, the hostility really isn't warranted. I mean, I'm not too familiar with Levios posting history, but we are all allowed to have differing opinions, right? Some people think Peggle is the best game ever, and I don't think less of them. They're wrong, but I don't think less of them. :P

As a game, WoW is pretty poor. Better than most of its predecessors, but still missing any redeemable gameplay elements. However, if your looking for an interactive instant messenger with magic and hot Night Elf action, WoW is the place to go.
